Dynamo Morpork 840 for nine declared (144)
Lester 222, Marsden 182, Fernandes 178

Port Antonio 266 all out (88.1)
Lavigne 108; Tuck 2/1 (6.1), Lea 2/67 (18) Wrigley 3/39 (18)

Port Antonio 13 all out (21.5, f/o)
Cort 5/3 (10.5), Tuck 5/5 (11)

Dynamo Morpork won by an innings and 561 runs

Earning 300k is dull stuff.

Unfortunately, the league runner-up got a full set of points against Mud poodles, so I'm still six points adrift of 2nd place. Mud poodles promoted already after demolishing me.

Wersing the number 1 side in my league who hasn't lost a match yet and doing a lot better than expected.

End of Over 34: 187-1, runrate=5.50
Parle 7-0-47-0
Grahame* 103 (93 balls)
Mohan 76 (112 balls)

Grahame once again holding the innings together. Hopefully can get a score of around 300 and hope my bowlers can at least be economical.

My match is already over, but there is another bug, so cant see the scorecard. I won, very easily it seems, and it was against a GFI from 3rd. Gun.

I lost Harris & Ludlow early chasing 173, but I'm probably still marginally ahead with Moloto still to come.

End of Over 6: 34-2, runrate=5.67, reqrunrate=3.18 (173-10)
Dillon 3-0-11-1
Appleyard* 1 (2 balls)
Kanelo 10 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Ludlow b. Dillon 14 (FOW: 33/2)

EDIT: Barring a collapse, this game is mine.

End of Over 20: 106-2, runrate=5.30, reqrunrate=2.27 (173-10)
Villiers 5-0-34-0
Kanelo* 43 (49 balls)

And that's the end of the match. oz fans XI won by 45 runs.
oz fans XI 297-5
Warrenbayne 252-10

End of Over 49: 252-10, runrate=5.14
Wills 4-58
Carroll 3-44
Brooks 2-43

Completely unexpected win against 1st place in my league. All of the bowlers have contributed but Carroll the standout with the ball.

I've got a match today against some little-known team going by the name of Scaly Piscine CC. Then it's Asterix XI in the CW Cup this weekend.

Can I manage two wins?

Nope.

Going for damage limitation and a TIE against Scaly, in the hope that sublime PFLs will give me a chance on Sunday.

GFI'ing today, in spite of some dodgy PFL's. Playing a must-win game today - if I win I should take the OD title again. I have two walkovers next week so will be able to rest all my stars. Won the toss and am bowling, have made a great start:

0.1 W Turner to Mcfadden
How is that? He's given him out LBW! The umpire must have seen something I didn't.
He's their only decent batsman playing today. In the bowling lineup, they have Owen Hall who took 5/26 against Australia U19's this week, as well as one or two other handy players, so I'm looking to skittle them for as little as possible.

Up against an elite top order today (the team with England NT Dan Cahill). Beat him by 50 runs last time out, but he's bolstered his already ridiculous batting lineup with a 100k BTR all-rounder, who's also improved his previously-shoddy bowling. Oleary's taken an early wicket, but I've prepared a flat pitch and set defensive orders; no point gambling on bowling out a batting lineup like this one. Fingers crossed...

Ouch, consecutive sixes off Oleary. This could get ugly.

Won my match by 8 wickets. Kanelo & Appleyard finishing on 71 & 75 not out respectively. That win also gives me a 1 game break over 5th spot.

100k BTR of batsmen down, 350k or so to go. Still, one more wicket and there's some real dross, so it might not go as terribly as it looks at present:

End of Over 19: 127-2, runrate=6.68
Marriott 3-0-24-0
Leacock* 18 (18 balls)
Cahill 56 (52 balls)
Last Wicket: Collymore lbw b. Oleary 53 (FOW: 82/2)

Bleurgh, this is murder. Had I logged on early enough to check the weather I might've set more attacking orders, but I don't think it would've made much difference. Not one of my bowlers has been economical in the slightest.

End of Over 31: 209-2, runrate=6.74
Marriott 9-0-70-0
Leacock* 57 (61 balls)
Cahill 99 (81 balls)
Last Wicket: Collymore lbw b. Oleary 53 (FOW: 82/2)

End of Over 41: 254-3, runrate=6.20
Hirst 6-0-40-1
Preece* 49 (38 balls)
Dillon 93 (82 balls)

Last Wicket: Packer c. Fish b. Brooker 76 (FOW: 149/3)

My best two bats didn't do much but the rest are chipping in.

John bags five in seven balls, taking Scaly from a menacing 261/3 (41.4 overs) to a not quite so scary 267/8 (43.5).

Scaly's going to just LOVE that! ;)

Still, I don't think I'll be able to rack up more than 50-60 runs against his bowlers.

UPDATE: One more for John (8-1-23-6) and then Hirst grabs the last. 274ao. 5.5 an over required. Scaly very much on top -- it's not whether I'll lose, but by how much I'll lose.

Turner 8-0-20-5
Samiullah* 2 (18 balls)

Fine bowling performance from Turner, with good support from Prutton (2/8) and Woods (2/30). They got away a little bit in the middle overs due to Westwood being crap, but I'm confident that we can chase this, even with our slightly iffy PFL's and an England U19 bowler in their ranks.

Oleary does this:
Code:
47.6	.	Oleary to Fordham
Too wide from Oleary and Fordham can leave it alone.
47.5	W	Oleary to Macken
Easy catch for Bromby. Macken had no idea about that one.
47.4	.	Oleary to Macken
Squirts away off the inside edge. Mid wicket sprints in and fizzes the ball in to Bromby.
47.3	W	Oleary to Devapriya
Devapriya saunters down the pitch, swinging like a windmill. Bromby has an age to remove the bails.
47.2	W	Oleary to Seaman
Confident appeal … he's out. Beaten by the slower ball and caught plumb on the pad. It would certainly have gone on to hit middle.
47.1	W	Oleary to Mackie
Oh dear, that ball has barely bounced at all. Mackie couldn't get his bat down in time and loses his off stump.
...but it's all a bit late, and they've set me 326 to win. Maybe a green pitch would've done the trick. Maybe not. Can't see me chasing this though.

Perry manages to run himself out for a diamond duck. Rubbish. Gonasilan follows, and it's 6/2 after just seven balls.
