looking forword to the FC match on the 11th!!

(and seeded 30 is quite high for my team as they are not very good this is the second season of there existance) and got only one person over 10,000 for BT rateing (my joungest perosn in the team))

Thats how I would rate the teams based on past cup results with a greater weighting to recent cups and with Batstats (ratings) in mind. Rather be ranked 5th though.

Not fussed with either ratings system, as long as the majority can agree with one.

Yep I too only have 3 players over 10000 BTR and all of them crossed the mark this season

It was a gloriuos period form y academy:happy:

Not arsed how we seed it, perhaps we should take a leaf out of BT's book and go totally random, make it like the FA Cup. ButSeriously, two seasons is probably a little too narrow a window on which to base rankings - Statistically you need more data to even out the rogue results.

What we really need is for some sad mad brilliant yet unemployed genius - (Glances in Scaly's direction) - to go through all the friendlies between CW sides, both in and out of the CW Cup itself. That would not only give you a clearer picture of the standings, but it would also reward you for having been more generally active on the CW scene.

I'm pretty sure that most of us here know which teams are better than which. Tharmi's is close enough for mine, he's too high if it's just based on ability of the team but his cup run last season has to be rewarded so fair enough.

Haha, I reckon. There were a few questionable rankings, but at least it would've made things interesting.

I think those are pretty good rankings, if a little harsh on Morpork & Dalmeny. But no big gripes. Good effort.

So, when I get knocked out can I offer the alternative that I should stay in?

Really, I'd prefer the guy running the thing to use whatever rankings he sees fit to use. It disadvantages me as I've not been in this junket before, but should be up to you. If Chaminda wants to use his rankings, let him run it.
