Not much happening at the moment. Where are the days where tailenders wickets were just a given? Everybody want's to be a batsman now a days. :p

Got to take the last wicket quickly as australaia will have to score the runs we get in the 3rd innings in the 4th innings too.

Perth was tame, just wasnt a great pitch because of uneven bounce

Decent wicket should have even bounce, enough pace to encourage shots and pace bowlers, and turn later in the game
There was no uneven bouce on that pitch. There was not one batsmen in that game who got out with ball keeping low.
There was no extra bounce as was expected for quicks .That extra bounce and pace for quicks is as bad/good as first day turners.

Finally, all out. Match seems likely to head down the path of a draw. Disappointing bowling effort from India and some pretty poor field placings throughout the day.

Rp singhs injury and kumble's underbowling of sehwag/sahin and persistence with an average harbhajan were key blows.
Rp would have been very very useful with the ball reversing and one or two wickets at a crucial stage could have made the difference.

India obviously need to end the day with all ten wickets left. Tomorrow morning, if they can bat for a session and a half, and then maybe leave 40-45 overs to see they can make a dash.

But they simply cannot lose a wicket right now.

Excellent batting performance from us. The last 6 wickets certainly would've got more runs if we didn't have to keep things pressing a bit more. We're in a decent position at the moment. Have a nice little buffer, however all results are still very possible and an Indian win is probably more likely than an Australian one since we're batting last and against spin.

Agree.the crucial thing for india is that they did not give away a big lead.
Now even if they somehow manage to collapse australia will have to chase down the runs on a worse pitch.
