Battle of the Wrestlers

Right, to get us moving a bit quicker I'm closing that round of battles.

Sting goes through with a whitewash on the great King Harley, Triple H goes over Rick Rude, Kevin Nash eeks out Lesnar 6-5, much to my disappointment, and Goldberg overcomes Double-A 6-4. Last group of four battles coming up!

Round 1, Battle 29:

Weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds, from Dudleyville, he is a twenty-time Tag Team Champion in all major federations.....'Brother' D-Von Dudley!

And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and fifty pounds, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is the reigning two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and a former four-time WWE Champion.....'The Wrestling Machine', 'The Olympic Hero', Kurt Angle!

Love D-Von but it's gotta be Kurt Angle from that one

CM Punk easily for mine

Very hard to choose but will have to go for Edge over Shamrock

Bret Hart easy choice, which is saying something considering Benoit was quality. My favourite of all time and one of, maybe THE best that's ever lived.

Incidentally, my votes are as follows:

Angle, one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time and an absolute genius on the mic.

CM Punk - the future of the business. The sky's the limit for him. Had some epic battles with Samoa Joe in ROH, and at WrestleMania 23 among 83,000 people there were signs saying "I'm here for CM Punk", and "Punk is God", before he'd even won his first title in WWE. A supreme talent, compared to a guy whose entire moveset is composed of chinlocks.

Edge, one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time and a superb mic worker, plus he's put his body on the line more than most for the business and can wrestle almost any style of match to a high standard. Shamrock was good, but Edge is Hall of Fame material.

Bret Hart - in terms of quality there's not much to separate them, but Hart didn't murder his family so I'm gonna go for him.
