It's not me who is suggesting it, but they would say there should be no runs allowed from it.Well what else do you suggest should happen?

I'd suggest what you re-read what you said the first time.It does make sense. The fielding team benefits if the keeper is competent and doesn't benefit when is keeper is incompetent.
The batting team benefits from incompetent keeping.
17 of his 39 tons are 150s as well now. Loving how he has been in such an aggressive mindset and in such good form today. Not just another ton in the series, another 150 for the Little Master
As long as both teams have the opportunity to score the extra runs then let it be for now. And it's not as if though bad bowling is the thing that's inflicting it, but good bowling that a batsman can't hit. It's not me who is suggesting it, but they would say there should be no runs allowed from it.
I think it's because it is a little harder to make consistent contact with a ball on the legs. When leg byes make up 50% or more of a team's total I think it's time to worry. I'd be surprised if there're more than 20 in any given innings on average.Leg byes mate, not byes.
If a bowler bowls a ball and the batsman tickles it off the pads for a run, why should they get that run when they are unable to hit it?
Mentioned it in the thread about who will eventually hold Lara's record.Surprised no one has mentioned this, but Tendulkar is now only 213 from breaking Lara's all time run scoring record. He won't do it in this Test, but pretty soon I would think.
