Having looked at the bbb for the last match, the rain saved the U/19 as the last two days were quite interrupted. SO, that makes our game even better.

The man has a point. Mind you, unsure why our domestic is 5 days when the rest of the world is 4 days (I think).

Because the CWBCC realizes that the best way to prepare for 5-day international cricket is to play 5-day domestic cricket. It's... logic.

As great as it is to see the Young duo makes runs at the top of order in ODs. Kind of annoying from a personal POV as it seems I will never get a chance at the top of the order in ODs. Was kind hoping after improving my OD record in the off season I might get a chance this seasoon. Oh looks like I have to wait until the Internationals are away again.

I've pretty much got both line ups down sussed now. It's going to cut-throat for most of the season i'm thinking, we've actaully got a really strong, and deep, squad. I'm heaps stoked.

Have had a few things randomly bound up in the team selection that I wasn't initially going to do. More of a gut feel kind of thing not playing a specialist spinner at the Dome and also to play Young infront of Bowen.

All 11 need to perform, places are up for grabs throughout the team in my opinion.

It would be good if we could get some chat/banter going on in here and the main thread. I'm going to like to think that activity _will_ play some part in the selection process this season. Not specifically going to be playing people just on their name, either.

Interesting to see I got selected as the main spinner despite not bowling much at all in the preseason. Fair enough given our seam attack though. Good team.

Dire decision for Bowen fans. You obviously have forgotten the brilliant 100+ not out in the match against Tasmania where all the other batsmen failed.
