Geez, no straws at your place for you to clutch? As someone pointed out, Zaheer was unavailable, as was - as I mentioned - Sreesanth. Just because you claim no other players would have been in that team ahead of anyone, doesn't mean it's true.
you saying thats not the best pace bowling performance from india for a long time? those 3 players bwoled very well , zaheer khan isnt a good bowler

8-)

Zaheer bowled better in England, and even in the first test of this series, than any of the bowlers bowled in this one IMO. He'd walk into the Australian team at the moment, so the fact that you're saying he wouldn't make the Indian team speaks tenfold against your other petty argument.

How the hell is MacGill a loss? His form, whilst somewhat hindered by injury, has been terrible this season.

Zaheer was amazing in England TBH. Best exhibition of swing bowling by an Indian since Kapil Dev. Went over and around and swung it both ways.

Kudos here to India for a great effort over the four days. Their effort in Australia's 1st innings, when there was a 40 degree day, was fantastic and was really the difference between the sides.

Perversely, Australia made the highest score of the match in the fourth innings and were still well beaten.

C'mon Turby - I expected something better than that!
Honestly, I avoided this thread (posted only once this whole match) for superstitious reasons. And I don't have words to express how happy I am atm (pretty much woke up everyone ran around the whole house at 4 in the morning), and how much I'd like to say to most people "I told ya so :p", but it's not done yet. Gonna wait after the 4th match, when I hand out that avatar to Sam, that'll express it all. So nothing but a "Good job India" for now. :)

whos going out for him ?
even still macgill and hayden are bigger losers for australia
Hayden was a big loss i agree, but macgill, you must be kidding.Indians would have been rubbing their hands if he was around.
Last time we came here,he was hit out of the team by sehwag and laxman.Even in india he was ordinary.
India had their whole pace bowling unit ripped out with zaheer, sreesanth and munaf out ,would loved to have seen how australia would have done without lee, johnson and clarke.
Who would be your strike bowler?Tait:laugh: .

no chance at all that he would get into the australian team, there are players not in the australian side who are ahead of him, for example i would say bracken is a better bowler

Great job India - totally kept the series alive interest wise :D Been a great summer's test cricket, I just love India/Aus test series, I think maybe even more than the Ashes.
