***Official*** India in Australia

RSA rarely step up though. Or at least they don't play to their potential. India seem to play to their potential when they play Australia and it really annoys me, especially when I see them struggle against far, far weaker sides.
Believe you me, it frustrates us much more.

60/40 to Australia, but India do have a big chance. That will quickly become 50/50 if a wicket falls today (or two), and 70-30 if Australia end the day with all 10 wickets in hand. No chance of a draw here, so India have nothing to fall back on.

It will be interesting to see how the Australian batsmen handle the swing. I expect they will be a lot more cautious this time and try to see off the new ball. The key will be for the Indian pacers to stay patient and maintain their discipline; will be interesting to see if they have the maturity to do that. Kumble will probably bowl a massive spell tomorrow which will be the key and Sehwag and Sachin could chip in with a couple of wickets as well. Overall I suppose India has a great chance of winning here. If Australia does somehow manage to pull it off it will be a sensational way to get that record 17th win.

This is why I hate and love cricket. This has the potential to be one of the greatest Tests ever, yet Australia are on the back foot, looking set to lose and every wicket that falls will make me want to go and hide in a dark corner.

Will likely get forgotten in the final analysis (whatever the result), but IMO he has been fantastic. I've really enjoyed watching the intelligence of his bowling.
Yeah, it's just one of those bowling performances which won't show up in the figures so much. Not that his figures are bad, but he's bowled well enough to take 10 for the match, IMO. That's the nature of bowling I guess.

McGrath took the worst 5-for I've ever seen in the 2005 Ashes at Old Trafford, and Lee bowled one of the best spells of his career the next Boxing Day against South Africa and took 3/90 or something.

BTW, wouldn't surprise me at all if the ball doesn't swing much tonight, but does a lot for 30 mins or so tomorrow morning. You often see the new ball doing very little in Australia around this time of day.
