BARNES OUT
He looked great early vs. Murali IMO.I've said it before, but Hussey is pretty vulernable to spin early in his innings. The ball from Kumble was very good, but I've seen Panesar give him a fair bit of trouble too.

Now that is correct. Whichever one of these 2 miss out is a harsh call right now. Tait's form domestically after his operation has been sensational while Johnson has been bowling well, but not flawlessly, against Sri Lanka. I think the selectors gave it to Tait to see what he could do.It ain't like the guy (Mitch) can't play Odi's he was Australia's best bowler in Odi series in India but he would have been better off getting an international game under his belt before playing an important test like this.
zaheer bowling like akram atm
kumble being kumble
Goat him,Loving it.
Been practising my Aussie accent too while I am at it, been using it all evening, trying to imitate the commentators whenever I can as well. Having a blast. Also, saying what that commentator said when Bhajji got his hattrick, "Oh heee'ssssss goat hem oh he'sss goat hem". I think I am in love with this accent. It just sounds so ***y. Bloody hell wish I had some vegemite too.
Had a long face before lunch, suddenly changed into my usual jumping around the whole house self after lunch.
Well done Haydos, hope he pushes on from here a gets a big double-hundred for himself.Wonderful hundred by Hayden.
One of the best batsmen of the modern era, I don't care what you say about him, he's got 28 bloody hundreds and an average over 53.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing, i would like to belive Hayden has struck more than 9 centuries outside Australia.Fantastic hundred from Hayden.
Hayden now has scored the most test hundreds by an Australian in Australia with 19, Bradman and Ponting both have 18
Loving it.
"Oh heee'ssssss goat hem oh he'sss goat hem". .
You don't get nearly 600 test wickets by being badbloody hell kumble is good
I don't know about the best, but certainly in the very top drawer atm, I loved watching Warne (except all of the oohs and arhs every ball, even if he was hit for six), but Kumble is also great to watchI think there may be a case to be made that Anil Kumble is the best bowler in the world right now. He's facinating to watch in that what he does each delivery is different, but it doesn't look different. Tremendous subtlety. What impresses me most about him is that he's probing. I think he's better at probing than Murali truth be told. Different bowlers really. Murali relies more on amazing spin and variation, while Kumble probes on batsmen and tries to work them out better IMO.
He plays the role of a spinner with aplomb.
