And from Taranaki too! WOOHOO!!!I was waiting for that to come up. (How's a CD player too btw)
We learnt a valuable lesson today.wow what a finish to the match.
NZ blew it, they threw away the match.
And that we've missed Kyle Mills a lot. He had an outstanding gameWe learnt a valuable lesson today.
DONT USE MARTIN IN ODI'S!!!
Very true. Hopefully we can have Mills, Bond, Franklin, Oram and Vettori against Bangladesh and absolutely crush them so idiots like Jonathan Millmow and co look like the tossers they are.And that we've missed Kyle Mills a lot. He had an outstanding game
Crushing Bangladesh should be a given. Aim should be to win these last two games and to crush England in Feb/MarchVery true. If we have a line up of:Crushing Bangladesh should be a given. Aim should be to win these last two games and to crush England in Feb/March
I assume that's a test line-up mate? No Styris or Taylor eh? Would probably have Martin over Mills in a testIf we have a line up of:
Cumming
How
Sinclair
Fulton
Fleming
Oram
McCullum
Vettori
Franklin
Mills
Bond
On our home turf if that side is in reasonable form we could take on anyone with a realistic chance of winning IMO.
Test. No way should Cumming or Franklin be in a full strength ODI team.Is that a test or OD line-up mate? No Styris or Taylor eh?
Yeah, silly question sorry. Would probably have Martin over Mills in tests but then again he offers so much more with the bat. I believe Mills would be a decent middle order test batsman actuallyTest. No way should Cumming or Franklin be in a full strength ODI team.
Is How really from Taranaki i thought he was a Palmy boy?And from Taranaki too! WOOHOO!!!
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
What did you see Francis do Pasag? *Waits for Voltman to invent his own version*
Definitely, that would stick it up Milmow. I definitely think that it is possible as well once we get the fielding sorted and Oram back.Crushing Bangladesh should be a given. Aim should be to win these last two games and to crush England in Feb/March
Said on his player profile Taranaki so I assume he's from here. I definitely remember his name mentioned in the paper playing for Taranaki at some stage. I know one of the current CD side is from palmy but can't quite remember...Sinclair?Is How really from Taranaki i thought he was a Palmy boy?

I've never agreed with a suggested NZ lineup on this forum more than that one, TBH. Well, certainly not lately, anyway. The openers would be two of many candidates; I don't really mind which, as long as Sinclair, Fleming, Fulton and McCullum all stay in the middle order and aren't moved up there. If we have a line up of:

Taylor must be persisted with in both forms of the game imoI've never agreed with a suggested NZ lineup on this forum more than that one, TBH. Well, certainly not lately, anyway. Why? FC average of 36 is not good enough to get you in the test team in the first place. Certainly use him in the one day team but he's not a good FC/test player yet so why stop someone better from shining by persisting with someone who would do better to rack up the runs in FC cricket.Taylor must be persisted with in both forms of the game imo
