I'm hoping White makes a big score in second innings because he is my captain. His bowling figures are respectable as well.

Cameron White is the most underated four day bowler in Australia. 2nd/3rd best spinner in the longer version of the game TBH. Only Macgill and Hogg as competition.

After the first round Katich was the 11th most popular.

Suprised that Jimmy Maher was the most popular (even though I have him) and Graeme Manou was number 10! Some weird selections which will probably change as the season goes on.

You're not wrong. 1,717 out of 7,965 seems quite a low percentage for Katich. Myabe more have brought him in now tho.

I've got Maher too, btw. Combo of cheapness & a nore-or-less guaranteed start.

Yup. I have both Maher & Manou: there seemed to be no wickie who seemed to give enough value, so he was cheap filling. (I didn't know of Paine before this season.)

I have Shaun.

As far as bargains go, Paine would be the choice keeping option. I might sub in Katich for someone next round. Who, I'm not sure, but his price will definately go up after round 3.

Bowling is a little tricky at the moment. I was genuinely disappointed that Geeves did not play in the 1 day match (is he injured), Dizzy isn't performing (going to trade him next round). Griffith appears a little out of touch (though I will reserve judgement until tomorrows match).

Happy with Jaques, Di Venuto, Birt, Pomersbach, S Marsh, Paine and Noffke.

I'm really unsure of who I can drop for Katich. All of my top 5 bats are in good touch/are good value and I don't have any spare cash. I may end up dropping Klingner and Dizzy and buy a cheap 4th bowler (not ideal). My 5th bowling option, Bird, hasn't got a game thus far.

I'll also get rid of Henriques who at 62 000 and sitting on the sidelines behind Cam White is quite useless so I'll bring in an el cheapo all rounder in Nye or Cleary.

Not having Noffke is a mistake I believe. He's basically an allrounder who has been performing at gun-like levels ever since he got back from injury last season.

Bracken will be picked for the ODIs, I tend to pick my players based on the idea that the team must be mostly stable through the season. I may pick him in the next round though. Had to trade how I traded to have enough money to pick up katich before his price rises.
