They didn't win the election until '97, but New Labour were emphatically on the map and beginning to hit hard in '95 - hence the Tories' delaying the election until the last possible minute (knowing that they could only cling to power for as long as that term lasted).

Not Terrible
Phlegm it's usually well hidden, microphones that look like cotton buds, cameras that look like thumb tacks. Our Richards a clever little spy.

They could have waited another 3 weeks actually :p

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
As long as Oasis are around, I could not care less about Pulp being on hiatus; I can still pretend it's 1995.
Oh this is just the worst post of all Richard. Mainly because Jarvis ****er is a legend while the Gallagher's are ****ing ****s.

WOOT! Agree with that.

Jarvis ****er's relaxed muscle has more ability than any part of the Gallaghers

My Lighthouse is a stone cold classic.

Can't say I've ever been a Jarvis fan TBH. Whether the Gallaghers are ****s or not doesn't really bother me, I still think What's The Story is probably the best non-best-of album of all-time.

I don't consider some of the most basic and whiney written music to ever be released as any good.

Though as an encapsulation of the zeitgeist at the time, you'd be hard pressed to find a more representative album

Alternatively, you could listen to Zeitgeist by the Levellers

Morning Glory is a great album, Defo Maybe is probably better mind you. I love Oasis though, own everything they've ever released in this country, loads of their overseas stuff and a fairly extensive bootleg collection.

Oasis were fantasic. Morning Glory, hate that album though.

Quite sad on my behalf i remember Zeigeist. Just the One was a classic tune of the day
