Seriously, Dida is a bit of a disgrace with how he got stretchered off and all that. I think the fact that the Milan players and management both said that Celtic fans are generally fantastic and that they won't be reporting Celtic says it all, really. If I was on a panel investigating that issue I'd be laughing at Dida and probably pointing at him for dramatising rather than Celtic.

Of course, the fan should be banned from games and all that, but Dida deserves another slapping after his child-like antics.

silly as Dida's reaction was....it will be overlooked, of that I am certain...

Celtic will be penalised heavily, and rightly so imo.

Punished heavily for what? The reaction of an obviously jubiliant fan who's just seen his team score a goal in the last minute. Yes, it's defo wrong to enter the pitch and go near a player but why on earth should Celtic as a club be punished for something that one stupid, moron did. Dida's antics should get much more headlines.

Heavily? Rightly so? Pshaw. If Milan are fine with things - and they stated they had no intention of reporting the incident at all and that they are happy with the Celtic fans - then there is no need for heavy punishment. Maybe a fine, nothing more.

I've never asked Liam, you live in Glasgow, do you support one of The Big Two or a smaller side?

well, a heavy punishment is perhaps unlikely... and indeed probably would be unfair, but lets say the fan had a knife...very unlikely....but if it happened there would be uproar, this incident should be treated very seriously, people should not be allowed to get onto the pitch so easily.

Good to hear Wazza was on the score-sheet recently. But now its almost crunch time for England in Euro qualifying. As usual these injuries aren't letting up & some players have question marks over their fitness. Hoping pretty much that this weekend no more casualties occur with any key player.

Based on what i know of who is available i'll be looking at a squad like this:

KEEPERS:

- James
- Robinson
- Carson

DEFENDERS:

- Terry
- Ferdinand
- Richards
- Cole
- Campbell
- Woodgate
- Onhua/Young - even though Richards may well & play the full 90 in both qualifiers a backup could be needed so its a necessary precaution. If some may question Luke Young's ability to play at international level i reckon everyone would agree that Onhua is a superb athlete & talent apparantley he has been very impressive for City play at right-back while Richards has been in the centre. Time for a call-up me thinks.

- Baines/Shorey - anyone will do although i'd take Baines preferably

MID-FIELDERS:

- Gerrard
- Barry
- Wright-Phillips
- Cole
- Frank Lampard (Noble) - have been hearing anything about Lamps, but with Hargreaves & Carrick out would be good to have him fit. If not which is hope won't be the case Young Mark Noble could be a potential call-up IMO, he seems to have a very mature head on his shoulders, was very impressive in the Euro Under 21's & in the absense of Parker & Ljunberg this season for the Hammers he has played like the senior man in the centre of the park.

- Reo-Coker - With Hargreaves out we need a digger in mid-fielder, he is the man apparantley he has been doing a superb job for Villa to date this season in that role.

- Bentley/Pennant/Lennon - Anyone will do...
- Young

STRIKERS:

- Rooney
- Owen (Crouch) - only if Owen won't be fit then i'll pick Crouch who drops down the pecking order for me ATM given his lack of first-team starts for the reds.
- Ashton
- Agbonlahor - definately should be called up now has the making of a very top-quaity striker.

Mclaren based on passed evidence will pick a bigger squad, but once these 23 players are picked along with a few exception to some i have not highlighted i.e Lescott, Downing i'll be satisfied.

Mark Noble - no where near good enough

Ashton - badly short of form, not deserving of a place

Agbonlahor - definately should be called up now has the making of a very top-quaity striker.
what a load of rubbish, why do you continually over hype players who are simply quite decent but little more?

- Bentley/Pennant/Lennon - Anyone will do...
- Young
no no no, not good enough.

Think about it. How many more fans are there in the ground than stewards/police? How can you expect every single fan to be watched for the full game? Would be a piece of piss to get on the field at the right place and time (maybe not directly in front of a steward, when the home side has just scored a late winner and 58,000 other people are going crazy too, for example).

Concurred, was shouting at the TV last night when Sounness was babbling on about "but he didn't have a knife". Thats not the point ffs, he quite easily could have done and the fact that he got onto the pitch so easily is very worrying.

Ha, this bloke is crazy.

Yo sledger thought you realised but i can't see your post since you are on my ignore list son. So you could save yourself some time and not respond to what i post. Just a suggestion though dawg...

edit: on second thought don't know why i brought this to your attention, your dislike towards me will keep you responding anyway.
