God I hate posts like this. People's lives don't revolve around CW - he'll be online when he wants to discuss the cricket and not before. He doesn't have a duty to post immediately after his team loses to appear to be a good sport - he isn't always online.

I thought that Bennet was just laughing at the fact that anyone could be worse than Prior.....

It's possible that he was laughing at the fact that anyone could look worse than Prior.

Honestly, that is one of the more frustrating losses of a random ODI I've seen in a long time as an Indian fan. Absolutely embarassing.

Yeah they showed fight, which was encouraging, but they should have won that. It really irks me that they give you hope like that (I thought the game was dead when KP and Collingwood were going) and then just slap you in the fact with some uninspired bowling and fielding.

England were horrible with the bat, but Broad and Bopara were absolutely brilliant. They looked so comfortable. Really, India better bloody take note of what batting talent at 8 and 9 can do in a ODI.

Argh, not happy.

I think its mainly due to slow-movers like ganguly, agarkar and tendulkar and poor fielders like karthik and powar. When more than half of the fielding is a liability coupled with the fact that only 4 bowlers can bowl decently (chawla is expensive for the 1-2 wickets he picks and rps doesnt pick wickets) india dont stand a chance unless they make 300 every game.Poor show by india. I see england winning this series 5-2 or 6-1

Anywhoo, top effort by the young uns for England. Wouldn't mind Freddie opening, for the rest of this series, anything that relegates Prior is a good thing, and Freddie can't bat any worse then he has so far. He's bowling stunningly atm, so I'm not that bothered what he does with the bat, Bopara needs to bat up a place tbh. All very well this performance, but Broad can't play that type of innings all the time, if he gets out early, Ravi may well trying to organize a run chase with Monty and Jimmy

Still, the bowling looking very promising, Broad, Anderson, Tremlett, Flintoff and Panesar the future Test bowling line-up. Could be very useful in proper cricket, for years to come.

How do you know how much he earns ? So are you a journalist in the English Edition or the vernacular edition of IE ?
