***Official*** India in England

Yep. The match is far from over, even though Powar is bowling well and Chawla and Zaheer have overs left. All these two have to do is not get out and they should win.

The thing is, is that England can still win this without doing anything stupid. The RRR is only just less than 4, it should be easy for any normal side. Broad can bat and Bopara definitely can, I see no reason why we can't win it.
Except that there's absolutely no margin for error. Somewhere along the line, you'd expect one of these two youngsters to get it wrong, and that will pretty much be it. If they had come together with 30 needed, I'd maybe agree with you, but adding over 90 against 2 very good spinners and the quicks who were generally too good for our test batters is a very big ask.

Things are beginning to look dangerous for India. This really illustrates the virtues of a long batting lineup. With India you are practically into the tail after the fifth wicket. With England even after 7 wickets you have a couple of decent bats in there.

Regardless of what happens in this game, I think RP Singh needs to be dropped for a batsman. He is a walking wicket and a useless fielder and a pretty average bowler. No way are his ten overs worth the 25 or 30 extra runs that a batsman would bring on average.

Far out Broad's impressive.

Take note India, you need to bat till 8-9, not 5-6.

Wish AA and Powar would apply themselves when batting like Broad does.

England looking so comfortable. Will walk it from here.
And yet, in each of the last 2 overs, they could easily have lost a wicket. And then we're into Anderson & Panesar. The other thing about the spinners is that they're not conceding too many runs, so if things did dry up for a couple of overs at this stage then the RRR would quickly shoot up.

That big lbw shout against Broad looked out tbh. I think England is going to win. Disappointing for India but they don't deserve to win this series with their ridiculous selections and lousy fielding.

Damn this is so frustrating to watch as an indian supporter. They always provide that little hope and let you down near the end, spoiling your entire day in the process.

Well batted to Bopara and Broad though... Broad should be a role model for indian tailenders.

Top partnership from Bopara and Broad, who should be a shoe-in for MOTM, has played beautifully at times.

Yeah good call, privately scoffed at it when I read it at the time though.
