No tbh, same side that came 3rd the season before, except Ronny Johnsen was accidentally lost to Arsenal on the Bosman, and as a result Taribo West was brought in to replace him. Just had a random gun season.

Sir T Halsey has no intentions of retiring.

Following season just completed, decided to go for the quadruple. Was all going well until February, when a shock FA Cup defeat to Middlesbrough (who are fast emerging as my bogey side) put paid to that. I then lost the MIckeymouse Cup final to Leeds, however the Prem was comfortably retained, and Roma were disposed of in the Champions League final.

Just started the following season, not quite as dominant as in the previous two, but I'm still top of the league after 6 or 7 games, though I started with a defeat in the Champions League group stage.

Managing Oxford United.

In my second season i got us promoted. Beat Exeter 3-0 in the final.
Im now 10th in League2 after 20 games. Loaning the crap outta teams atm. Got some gun loan youth strikers. and signing youth rejects of premiership clubs. I did sign Adam Federici the aussie in goal and he has been awesome.

Im also the boss of australia. That isnt going very well. Was hammering the Asian cup until the semi's where i drew 1-1 with UAE and lost on a penalty shootout. Then played China in the 3rd place playoff. During the rounds i smashed China 5-0 but in the 3rd place playoff China smashed me 5-0. Going ok in the Worldcup Quals. Have told Lucas Neill that he wont ever play for me again for rejecting my call up after i forgot to add him. He's now retired from INT's leaving this hole in my Defence. Need some new guy to come on through. My best INT player will have to be Josh Kennedy though. Has scored 15 goals in about 20 games.

failed to make the world cup with australia lost in the playoff to south korea back to old habits. then followed it up 10 days latter by beating the worlds best team Brazil 3-0

Oxford sit on top of League 2 after 28matches, i was asked to manage Watford who have snapped up David Carney but i was like Naaah you guys suck.

Won the German Cup & German League Cup, whilst finishing 6th in Burghausens 2nd year in the German 1st Division. Currently sitting 9th in the League with 1 game to go before the mid-season break. Also into the 2nd round of the German Cup, and we've made it to the 1st Knockout stage of the Euro Cup (qualified by winning the German Cup in the previous season) where we've drawn Everton (yech).

I've surely made a contender for the transfer of the season, signing a gun 30y/o Serbian striker for a transfer fee of just 30k, he's already scored 13 goals with the 1 game to go before the break, so he's right on track to break the club record of 18 goals in a season.

Due to having (temporarily I hope) lost the CM01/02 disc, I have returned to the FM2007 Exeter game I had previously lost my temper with. My fortunes took a definite upturn immediately tbh, as somehow despite the simply dire start to the season, I managed to scrape fourth place.

Next season, a fresh start (after several big name signings). At the end of September, I was on the verge of being sacked - I was 11th, but the board seemingly didn't pay too much notice to the fact that I was only 8 points behind leaders Arsenal with 4 games in hand. I have no idea why I was playing hardly any games at this point, but there you go. Anyway, I narrowly avoided said sacking, and began my pursuit of Arsenal. Climbed to second place pretty rapidly, and seemingly was always within a point or two of Arsenal for the rest of the entire season. Whenever they slipped up, I slipped up as well and vice-versa. We reached the final Sunday of the season with Arsenal on 73 points, and me on 72, with Arsenal at home to Charlton, and me away to Dirty Leeds. I went 2-0 up in the first half, and at half time Arsenal were miraculously 1-0 down to Charlton (who were to get relegated, though this is probably explained by Arse having had two players sent off). The fans sensed another Championship after (I think) a three year wait, however it all turned nervous when Dirty Leeds pulled one back, and Arsenal equalized. Now just one goal the wrong way in either game and Arsenal had the championship. However, I pleased to say that we hung on, and Exeter had won the Premiership for, if memory serves me correctly, the 4th time. The double was completed when we comfortably disposed of Newcastle in the FA Cup final, and Chelsea won the Champions League.

The following season was uneventful from my point of view as I was never really in the Championship race. I finished in fourth, miles ahead of fifth, and six or seven points behind winners Chelsea. Arsenal came 2nd for the second year in succession, with United 3rd. Chelsea completed the double, and Real Madrid won Europe, after knocking me out in the semis.

Next season just begun, 8 games in and with 18 points - one point behind both Arsenal and Chelsea.

A question to those who still use CM01/02, why exactly do you still use the older game? What makes it so much better than the current FM07? I'm not questioning anyones judgement, rather, with FM08 being announced, i'm torn between buying that, or finding a copy of CM, because of all the praise it gets on here. Also, i'm assuming the game specs would be lower, so it would most likely work better on my computer. So yes, why do you guys find CM so much better than FM? And i take it theres database updates and etc?

IMO the only flaw with FM2007 is the tactics, and unless the CM tactics are better, i to have wondere why it gets all the raves...

I've found that the transfer system is flawed as well, its almost impossible to sell a player unless he's one of your best. And even then you have to slash their prices.

I agree to a certain extent that it's hard to sell backup or rotation players, but i can't say i've had a problem with having to slash prices for my top players.

Slash is probably abit OTT, but i certainly had to sell players for less than i'd expect. Maybe i overvalued them or something, but when a 23 year old DM, with more than respectable stats has to be sold for 1.5m, when valued at 4, somethings not right.

haha, you got shafted , the only reason i've sold good players for less than their value was because they were either unhappy at the club, or because i had better players in their position and they were excess

haha, thanks i hadn't noticed..tbf, he was excess, otherwise i wouldn't have taken it. But no one would come near him for any more than that..no matter what i did. Transfer listed him, dropped his status to unwanted, offered him out, and the best i got was either the 1.5, or 1.7, in 24 month installments. It was the same with other players. Not of his standard, but still players mid-lower table clubs would jump at.

Haha ouch, atm i have 2 of the top under 21 strikers in Europe, and Milan & Man U are trying to poach them, but the greedy bastards won't pay anymore than 10m (they're currently worth 5mil, but i want double before i'm going to accept the transfer).

Also, just had the proudest moment of my managing Career, after leading Burghausen to a 2nd Consecutive German Cup at the end of last season, the beginning of the new season has started like a dream. Handing Berlin a lesson and winning 3-0 in the German League cup semi-final 3-0, and then defeating Munchen (Bayern Munich) 4-3 in penalties to win our 2nd consective League Cup Final. Then, to top it off, in the Euro Super Cup final, we upset ManUre 1-0.

I had the same kind of thing with Ribery in my marseille career, constant inquiries from just about every big club in europe. managed to cling on to him though, and in the season, his value rose from 6m to 17.5.

Proudest moment would be dragging Bristol Rovers up from League 2 to the premiership, all in consecutive seasons. Managed to sign solskjaer in league one, and he dominated. Thats the best way to play this game tbh, start low and work your way up, its so much more rewarding.

Indeed, i started with Spartak IF in Ukraine First League, Burghausen is just my second club, and i think i've done enough their to get myself into the English, Spanish or Italian leagues (have a continental reputation)

Anyway, it tells me there's an error report in the SI folder in my documents, under the crash dump folder. The files in this folder are DMP files, anyone know how to fix the problem, or open the said files?
