Correct, Sandham scored the first triple century (325) in April 1930, however only held the HS record for a few months as Bradman then made 334* in July 1930. Hammond then made 336* in April 1933

btw, Bradman then made 304 in 1934 and Hutton 364* in 1938 to make a total of 5 triple centuries in the 30's. there were just 6 more scored during the next 50 years, so a total of 11 in the first 100 years of test cricket; funny how there's been 10 triple centuries scored since 1990 onwards....

When was the first time a player was stood down from a Test because the opposition opposed his inclusion -who is the player ?
