**Official** Bangladesh in Sri Lanka

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's fit. His last few tests had produced dire returns and hence he was dropped. I think it's a reflection of him not being in the one day setup - he hasn't had a lot of cricket against decent opposition lately due to Bangladesh playing one day cricket primarily, so he's probably developed some bad habits in that time. The only way to fix that is to give him games in the test side, really, but it'd probably compromise the side to some degree at this stage. I'm sure he'll be given an extended run in the next year or so when Rafique hangs up the boots anyway.
That's precisely what it is, he hasn't had the chance to play much cricket and was unable to impress the selectors to show that he should be in the Test team ahead of Abdur Razzaq. Couple that with Razzaq actually performing quite well in ODI cricket and Haque was basically on a hiding to nothing, although as you say he should lead the spin attack when Rafique retires, or is dropped.

Centuries to both Kumar Sangakarra and Mahela Jayawardene, well played boys. Why is Tushar Imran bowling before Rajin Saleh? Dire.

=Prince EWS;126110 When a partnership like this develops, Ashraful is a handy bowler to have.
Yep I agree, the batsmen can add another 30-40 runs in no time a tall when Ashraful comes into the attack....I always thought that "partnership breakers" had the ability to take wickets. 9 wickets in 37 matches really doesn't suggest that. A partnership breaker is a Jacques Kallis, Scott Styris or a Dwayne Smith. Most defenitely he isn't a Mohammed Ashraful.

If Sri Lanka would declare now, and bowl Bangladesh out, we might coem to the conclusion that the Sri Lankans make more runs with 2 wickets, than Bangladesh with 20 wickets...

It's simply not test level cricket!

This is getting seriously boring, and I'm normally a big fan of massive SL victories.

In the course of this series, I've changed my opinion from "Bangladesh need more Test cricket and they'll improve" to "Bangladesh should not be playing Tests" :(

They should be touring and playing FC games against A teams and, in England and Aus at least, top-level county/state sides.

Sangakkara dropped on 188, tough return catch for Ashraful but it results in the run out of Chamara Silva who was backing up a bit too far. Dilshan in now, I'm expect Sri Lanka to declare either at the end of the day, or after Sangakarra brings up his double century.

200 up for Sangakkara, his second of the series. Only Bradman, Hammond and Lara have scored more double-hundreds than him now.

Sri Lanka bring up 500 on the last ball of the day, an overnight declaration is expected. Syed Rasel easily the pick of the bowlers, Rafique is having a shocking tour.

on the bright side, bangladesh cracked three figures in the first innings this time around, definite improvement, i'd say....
