All likelihood is that Dutch under 21 'star' Ryan Babel will be joining Liverpool. His had a medical and agreed terms, with the only stumbling block currently being that Ajax and Liverpool have slightly different valuations over the young man but the deal should be sorted by the weekend. It’s football in general but I was surprised to see the figures quoted over Nelsen, considering his original contract was at around £10,000 a week.
But if Lucas Neil and Matthew Upson are earning well over £60,000 a week than why not Ryan? It’s all relative and his better.

Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayou have both signed for Liverpool for £11.5m and £5m respectively. Auxerre fullback Bacary Sagna has joined Arsenal for around £6m. At this rate it will be surprising to have a player in the XI who have not played in Ligue 1. While Citeh looks as though it could of hijacked Freddie Ljungberg's potential transfer to Fiorentina.
