Big League Player Poll just came out. Sea Eagles most over rated team and Jamie Lyon most over rated player. Good times :D

The thing with the whole 'over rated' thing is you have to be rated first to be over rated. All it shows is people except him to preform better, but even Langer, Jason Smith and Tonie Carroll took about half a season to get used to pace of NRL compared to Super League, as do most guys that come back.

Walsh is gun tbh, another fantastic game Monday night. Corey Paterson also has a great future ahead of him, he's been imo the best Knights foward this season.

Angry that game is on Monday night because I will be nearing Singapore. And I don't think L'Equipe posts the scores as well

I was flying from Brisbane (via Sydney) to London last year for Boxing Day, I missed pretty much all of the first and 2nd days. I asked when I stopped off in Singapore if they had any scores - they didn't. Had to wait until Heathrow to get a score. I'm fairly sure you'll be lucky to get an NRL score.

Where else did you stop off?

I guess an internet cafe will do.

For 1 or 2 Quid you can use internet at the airport if you're desperate (like I was).

My flight from Brisbane was - Brisbane - Sydney (Quantas Domestic) Sydney to Singapore (British Airways) which was an hour stop off, then (Sydney to London).

A bit off topic, but British Airways is the best airline I've been on.

Enjoy your flight mate. Where are you staying in London?

Last time I stayed in London was in the city near the Moorgate and Liverpool Street tube stations. Will probably be the Holiday Inn Victoria this time, although I don't know yet as I fly into Paris first up. Actually your flight route was the same as mine when I first went over.

International Coach
Anderson gone, Fittler coach. Can't say I'm surprised, don't know why they didn't cut out the middle man and make Fittler coach at the start of this season.
Great to see Freddy back in the spotlight.

Truly one of the nice guys of rugby league.

He's like Darren Lockyer - so down to earth and humble.

Just seen him being interviewed on The Footy Show, one of the most humble sports stars I've had the pleasure of listening to.

BARNES OUT
Yeah, he's my favourite player of all time. Met him a few times, played junior league with a cousin of his, and despite my worship of him was always friendly and signed something new everytime I saw him. A great bloke, and I hope he does great things as a coach.

Sweet.

When I went to Paris it was bitterly cold and when I went up to the Eiffeel (sp) Tower it was overcast and couldn't see much (still worth the excursion though).

How long are you staying in Paris? You have to get out to see Jim Morrisson's gravesite (if even not a fan of The Doors) it's just a surreal experience to see a gravesite with steel bars around it to stop people from kissing the gravestone like I was going to do (for photo purposes only of course).

Also, get yourself to a supermarket, another amazing experience to see 7 aisles of wine.

Three days.

I get there on next Tuesday at 7am so I'll have plenty of time to look around.

Cool. Shoot me an email - mrkintheuk @ hotmail . com and I'll give you some pointers on where to go and the best way to get there (if your interested) and we'll get this discussion out of this thread.

Back on topic now.

Broncos to smash the Cowboys.

Will do.

As for Manly being over-rated, I was thinking the Cowboys instead?
