Anyone else been really impressed by Andrew Hodd's season?. His wicketkeeping (Twenty20 vs Essex) was excellent and by all accounts he's a decent bat. To early to really get excited about get by certainly a future England player in the making.

I thought that about Niall O'Brien when he replaced Geraint Jones when he got the call-up just like Hodd has with Prior.

India not doing fantastically and will likely draw but it is a tour match against County Champions without Tendulkar, Ganguly and Zaheer Khan. In context, their performance is slightly dissappointing but nothing to worry about.

Good point, but it is now looking like India may sneak this match...

I'll shut up now :)

Haha, Dravid batting at 7!!!!.WTF?.
Didn't follow the match but maybe it was because he didn't take the field during the first innings bowling (not sure if he didn't do that either). Don't know if those are in first class regulations, but in international cricket if you don't take the field for a certain time, the earliest you can bat goes down to 7.

Hahah, 6 balls and 1 wicket:

54.1 Kumble to Martin-Jenkins, no run, huge huge shout for lbw. It was full in length, on the middle and slides in. Robin leans forward and is beaten on the forward prod. That looked out. Would have taken out middle and leg. Five to go now.

Sehwag's definitely trimmed down A LOT last time I saw him.
He has, still overweight but a good improvement from Viru.

Although, going by Sachin's recent appearances it looks like the ‘little master’ has been tucking Sehwag's food away for him.

Oh well..... it's drawn. Good bowling from India after a poor batting performance in the second innings.
Comparably it was a decent effort from Sussex considering this wasn’t their first eleven by any means. Good net for a couple of the Indians but I’m sure worries over the ability of Wasim Jaffer to make hay in England would be of genuine concern and what’s worse for India is that his possible replacement isn’t the most 'reliably' of individuals.

Pretty average performance by the Indians, once again relying on Kumble to take most of the wickets. Disappointing for Yuvraj and Dhoni, both of them needed runs in this game.

Looking at the commentary, it seems like the Indians were on the receiving end of several bad decisions. Sreesanth seemed to find a little rhythm and RP Singh did alright apparently but Bose had a poor outing. Good to see Laxman among the runs but Jaffer is doing his thing again.
