Christ that was close, about 4" off the bail.
15 minutes was always pushing things for a night-watchman. It was also a very negative decision: the game really didn't need Hoggard at the crease first thing in the morning. As it is, if Strauss & KP stay there, then England are well placed to push on tomorrow and we could yet have an interesting finish.Hoggy gone. Second night-watchman now? That would sort out the long tail.
WHY ARE YOU PULLING THE LAST BALL OF THE DAY?
He's good, but an idiot sometimes.
Gun post.Just bring KP in now, he aint gonna get out against these bowlers.
The main change is that it will be much harder for England to finish Day 4 about 180 ahead, and therefore that much easier for WI to secure a draw if that's what they want. Even if England do collapse in the morning, this will now boil down to how brave Ganga is feeling. If England last until mid-afternoon, WI would have to be bowled out cheaply to have enough time to win the game and hope that England did much the same.Just mindless to go after the last ball of the day....Just given away the day rewards to WI. A wicket changed a lot
Exactly, most people on here would be salivating if KP hit that for four. Hoggard was the irresponsible idiot, KP shouldn't have been at the crease if Matthew did his job and saw out the night.Meh, it's the way he plays so I shall not fault him. Not entirely clever but he'll get another chance to bat if this is to be anything but a draw anyway as I don't think there was ever going to be a owt but a draw or a WI win after they scored 300 and took as long as they did.
Yeah, I have just nailed on the Grieg award thereGun post.
Kind of stupid but oh well KP has a reputation for that.WHY ARE YOU PULLING THE LAST BALL OF THE DAY?

Are you amish?Dont worry English! Pieterson is the saviour for England cricket
