How on earth was that innings of a test opening batsman, seriously? That was terrible - I don't care how talented he is or if that's "the way he plays", you cannot bat like that opening the innings on the first day of a test match. He lived adventurously at best and then played one of the worst shots you'll ever see. At least Ganga knows what he's supposed to be doing and tries to effect it - Gayle is just dire. Would rather have Joseph ITBT.
100% in agreement with this

Totally agree, what is to be gained from slogging on the first morning of a test?

Oh dear.

Great start by England but WI sound like they've been woeful. Get forward, please!

Should of picked Jimmy over Monty IMHO, would have these lot out by tea.

They may be poor players of spin, but they're 10 times worse players of swing bowling.

Chanderpaul their only hope again.

Haha love listening to TMS when Geoffrey Boycott is on, when he's talking about bad batting, he throws hands big time. It's quality when the other commentator try and make it sound less direct but Boycs won't let them.

He certainly knows what he's talking about as well. These WI boys just aren't upto it. They'd get pillaged by a decent bowling attack.

EDIT: The thing SP mentions is what made me laugh the most.

Dire stuff from the Windies here, they'll be struggling to force a draw at this rate. And now with Sammy not playing, I've no real motivation for following this thing.
