Battle of the Rugby World Cup players

I don't know if there will be enough interest in this to make it worthwhile running it, but if I was afraid of failure I wouldn't be an English sports fan, now would I? In any case if NRL & AFL can run one surely god's own code deserves one?

I dunno how many players we'll need, 16, 24 or 32 would seem the most logical number, depending on uptake.

Anyway, nominate as many as you want, but I'll arbitrarily impose a limit of 4 secondings to prevent any hogging of the list.
