think matthew maynard got out like that in the late 80's at a lords final, his helmet/cap falling off and knocking off the bails.
There's some famous old footage of Len Hutton's cap being knocked onto his stumps by Lindwall and not dislodging the bails.

Hutton went on to play a series-winning hand, too. :)

Looks like the england batsmen have got a bit more energy about them now, Must have had orders. Declaration with an hour to play?

Oh, and Cook averages over 50 now :)

Ultimate insult to Dave Mohammed that Chanderpaul has bowled 102 more overs in Test cricket than him.

My favourite player at the moment to be perfectly honest. I love his attitude and he has skills.

The only thing you can really fault with Cook at the moment is not his scoring rate, but the fact that he has scored 5 tons with a top score of 127.

Hopefully that will change today.

Collingwood is the real boring bat, not Cook imo.
Collingwood's natural ability is fairly limited in comparison with Cook, though.

I like Collingwood, because he's a fighter. Cook strikes me as a bloke who could be more aggressive if he could be bothered.

Hmm, perhaps not the greatest timing for that comment, but generally I agree with you.

I like watching Cook and Bell, they're both elegant IMO. As said before though, Vaughn is the best by far to watch.
