Looks like they're going to be trialing a new interchange system for the NAB Cup next year, 2 freely interchangable players and 2 subs (whoever they replace cannot come back on).

Would rather just see interchanges limited to around 6-8 a quarter, personally.

There's bit of talk about state of origin footy coming back these days.
What are people's thought on that ?

Personally i used to enjoy watching state of origin... just watching the Rugby league one was good too.

it be great if they had it as regular fixture again, player seem to be keen on it. Most clubs wouldn't be i'd think... it just means extra games for their star players and obviousally the chance of them getting injured is the downside for them.

Would be awesome. I reckon once every 2-3 years, and it'd get huge interest from players and fans. Once every year was too much, and you've heard from players such as Dermie and others that after the first few, its not that exciting anymore and they try and pull out of it whenever they can.

I'd love to see it, i'd be even more intruiged to see if they seperated each state, or had the "allies". I can't imagine QLD or NSW would exactly have gun teams :p

The Allies concept failed, however I don't really see any other alternative. You can't have a NSW or Queensland team, it wouldn't be the same, and what would you do with the guns from NT and Tasmania?
