***Official** West Indies in England***

Pretty poor shot, Monty knew what he was doing given he'd tried coming down the wicket to him the ball before. Good bowling, but it didn't take much of brain to figure out to just fire one in.
True, but you got to give credit. Good move by Vaughan to leave him on.

Shame, was hoping Ryan would get a five-fer.

Actually pretty good bowling that from Harmison IMO, even if it was a tailender.

Nah, it was a very poor lbw. Harmi has bowled a bit better in this spell, still not convinced.

Tbbh, my earlier rant was more frustration at myself "believing the hype". I was waiting for the second coming of GBH, as was promised, after some early season form. What i've seen is not promising.

anyway, dire ending to a truly dire batting display, even Bravo succumbed to a rubbish shot.

Poor ryan, didn't get his michelle :(

England have won as West Indies declare on 141/9.

Small note.

Vaughan

This shows how captaincy has directly hindered his performance. Indirectly, interesting to see that when batting first of choice, Vaughan needs not worry about captaining the team and so bats very well. Another hundred batting first of choice adds to this theory.

Not Vaughan who put the initial pressure on the bowlers, won the toss and made a good decision and bowled Sidebottom effectively?
Lol, I am not sure if you are joking or not and this makes this post funnier.

I think, the lack of bowling Plunkers at the end, where easy wickets were on offer, means he'll be the one to miss out, IF Freddie or Hoggy come back. Not against that tbh, Old Trafford should be the best pitch for both Harmi and Monty to bowl on.

I'd have thought more of that is to do with other factors, like Vaughan has been playing worse when struggling with injuries - which has happened when he's been captain.
