Hmm need some advice, do I throw my playoff game?

I quite like the idea of playing in the Indian Championship even if I get thumped, just to say I'm the second person to play in the top division from CW. :p

I'm going to struggle to beat him but I have a feeling that he's going to chuck the game too. :laugh:

You have 8 mil in the bank don't you? I'm not sure what uber players cost these days. But if you buy one before next season you could be competitive in Div I. Just going by BatStats a lot of the top sides from India are stuck in Div II and III, so it might still be two season, before the Indian Championship is flooded with the best sides in India. Could be your only chance to play in the Championship.

Yeah got 8m and there's quite a few decent bowlers on the market at the moment too so thinking I should get one by the end of the week but I'll still get relegated straight away I think. If I get an exceptional or something then I'll have wonderful-prof(17yo trainee)-superb-exceptional-superb and by the end of the season it'd be exceptional-superb-quality-sensational-quality which should be good enough to hold my own in II.*.

I'm thinking that it will be my only chance so I should try and win it as there's no certainty that I'll win anyway.

oh come on, PY. even if it is a depressing season for boggles fans, at least one day when they take time to reflect on this mad, crazy, journey that is battrick, they'll at least be able to say that their team made to the top echelon of indian cricket. this is something i'm deeply concerned that my beloved whenuapai may never achieve. we're so close at the moment, yet our goal seems so far away. i expect our matches against team monster to be fiery and fiercely fought in a season long battle for promotion. yeah, enough about my team. go for it, dood.

how many its (intense training ) should i save before i create a player. i have 7 at the moment and believe you can only use 12, should i wait till 12 or should i get a player in my side with 7.....what does everyone else do.

35 ITS and you have to upgrade you academy condition to superb.

Be warned though Bugs, upgrading your academy costs (I think) 30k per each level (ie. feeble to mediocre).

What's with the ridiculously low prices on the transfer market at the moment? There's wonderful-superb going for less that 4m with only 20 hours left on the transfer.

All the exceptional bowlers have stagnated at around 7m and Black, who I thought would go for loads so didn't bid, is going for 7.5m. :blink:

It tends to be like that, they'll go up when the deadline approaches though. I'll probably go to 10 or a bit more for Black myself.

I'll probably have to as I'm led to believe Gaskin's manager is going after Black, but I'd rather not get Gaskin as he's a defensive RM, which is pretty much the opposite of what I want. Black isn't much better in that regard though. Failing that I'll see how much Gobern goes for. If I get either Black or Gobern I'll probably sell Malik (1.5-2m) so I can get a better fifth bowler.
