About time we had some luck given our injury list, not like it matters to Middlesbrough anyway.

Chelsea favourites for the title now IMO.

Real Madrid will eventually damage their chances of signing him if they stay so persistent with these kind of comments in the media. If Ronaldo does eventually leave, I get the feeling that if Real and Barcelona were to both bid an equal amount, Real would miss out with the memory of such things.

Everyone knows United won't sell anyway, though.
Can't they report Real Madrid to FIFA if they keep doing it? So hate that club, although Ruud van Nistelrooy scored a cracking goal against Valencia in the first half despite the fact it was until then Valencia > Real Madrid.

Looks a certainty Chelsea should get it now.

I think it's just not reported as a fine would mean nothing to such a wealthy club as Real Madrid.

Rio & Vidic due back for the Chelsea game, along with Neville, Evra, etc. Everyone but Silvestre, really. So if we play well and get a draw there, or a win (we've broken enough unbeatean-at-home records over the years, to say it's impossible this time would be exaggerating), then we've still got a good chance of getting it should we win our other games.

Still favourites with the bookies, too.

United's injury crisis is a real worry at this crucial stage in the competitions, but luck seems to be with us as Chelsea didn't capitalise today on a great chance to gain key ground on us.

Can't believe Everton lost to West Ham, i know that they have been playing well, but we should of won.

Not really, they lost 4-1 to Chelsea (was to be expected tbh, and there is nothing too wrong in losing to them), but got done 0-3 at Sheffield United.

And I must pass a thanks to the other Nerazzurri (Atalanta, also have this nick name as their shir colours are very similar) for beating Roma to give the Scudetto, and I think I love Marco Materazzi. At least it was won on the pitch.

Regarding Premier League team of the year, absolute joke that James didn't get the 'keeper of the year, VDS has been shaky of late and Cech is ludcrously over rated. Also unsure how Evra managed to get left back...

Why shouldn't Evra have got left back? He's been incredible this season. Fantastic in attack and not many people would know that he makes more tackles than any United player.

Hasn't played that much for a start - shared duties quite a lot with Heinze, and I reckon he is extremely suspect defensively, however many tackles he makes.

The fact that he's shared duties and still managed to make more tackles while providing an excellent attacking option speaks volumes for me. Can't think of a player I'd rather have in my side in that position. His tackling success percentage is better than Carrick and Fletcher and is marginally behind Rio (Evra 78.4%, Rio 79.7%). I'd say that's pretty good.

I don't care how many tackles he's made, or any other stat about how successful those tackles are tbh. He's suspect positionally, and in general when he's playing the opposition have a fair amount of joy down his side. Evra might be a lot better going forward, but I feel a lot more comfortable with Heinze at left back. When Evra plays, the left side is our weakest area IMO.

Do have to say the entire back 5 from the same team does seem strange when they're not even the team with the best defensive record this season.

Obviously it would have been a ridiculous thought that anyone from the club with the run-down 20,000 seater stadium that might make Europe would get into the side ahead of someone performing adequately for a "big" club. James got screwed, TBH.

Matty Taylor got screwed out of Goal of the Month, let alone Goal of the Season, too - can anyone tell me how a volley from the edge of the centre circle doesn't win GotM?
