Is Hodge still gonna play in tomorrow's game? I think the part-time bowling of Clarke and Symonds could prove to be expensive against the lankans.

Great stuff this from Ireland, but do you guys think Irish can beat the Bangers and what target should they be looking for?

Ireland have just surpassed their highest opening partnership, the spinners are really drying the runs up here and they are struggling to pick the gaps. Having to take a lot of risky singles, wouldn't be suprised to see a run out or two in this innings.

They really need to pick up the run rate if they want to post a decent total, at the moment they are looking at around 180. Bangladesh will feel confident if they have to chase anything under 200, but anything over will probably get them slightly nervous, especially against the accuracy of Rankin and Langford-Smith. I'm still backing Bangladesh, their batting lineup has too much flair.

Jeremy Bray run out for 31, it was always on the cards with the hectic running. Eion Morgan was just dropped on the deep midwicket boundary, fielding has really let Bangladesh down today.

It was always likely, they were taking heaps of quick singles. If the fielding had've been of a higher standard then there woud have been plenty more.

Well done to William Portferfield, it has been a very well compiled half century. Eion Morgan gone, run out by Shadhadat Hossain.

They should take in an extra batsman against Sri Lanka's top class bowling attack imo. Not really worried about our bowling at this stage tbh.

Has Raja been drinking? His commentary has been a tad eccentric (more so). Got obsessed with the word "Free" & just said Ireland were 123 for "tea".

O'Brien goes attempting the reverse sweep. 128/3. Ireland will kick themselves if they through this away.

How old is Perm?
I'm 16 mate, 17 in October.

Porterfield really playing a lone hand here, he needs somebody to stick with him so Backing him for a ton though, but it will be tough against these spinners.

Kevin O'Brien looking to pick up the pace here, a lofted straight four and then a big slog over midwicket for maximum. He's got the right idea, Porterfield needs to follow his example and up his own scoring rate.
