Collingwood's bowling hasn't really been good enough to qualify him IMO. Styris by far at this stage although, realistically, New Zealand haven't played Australia, South Africa or Sri Lanka yet, so that could well change.

Collingwood is a good bowler when it's damp and cold, and nibbling around a bit, but fairly useless when it comes to flatter tracks. Kallis is a hell of a better bowler than Collingwood though.

Collingwood is perfectly acceptable on most pitches nowadays. His ER is dropping all the time, I'm sure if you looked at his bowling record just for the past two-three years it would be pretty decent for a batsman who bowls a fair bit in ODIs. Kallis is more of a 'proper bowler' but he's only marginally better than Collingwood nowadays.

Collingwood has better bowling stats than Tim Bresnan and Sahid Mahmood.

The difference is far greater than ‘marginal’- For Kallis still bowls in test cricket and gets wickets of vital batsman (Dravid, Sachin et cetera) (Collingwood, sadly does not even bowl in test cricket) and Kallis' performances in the one day game are still 'better' than Paul's.

Collingwood, has improved greatly with the ball in the one day arena, developed some nice slower balls and what not but his still nothing more than an adequate bowler who really shouldn't bowl as many overs as he does.
