Some people are now actually suggesting Queensland is part of Australia, as hard as that is to believe. :p

Despite being born in NSW & playing his first senior football in Newcastle? Seems fairly watertight to me.
haha oh dear, that was low  clearly you need another (i'm assuming you've already been?) to the sunshine state

The point you make about Inglis is just another example as to why the State or Origin is anything but due to the dodgy availability criteria.

Where he was born doesnt matter, all's that was proved is that he played in the Newcastle district when he was 16 or 17, it wasnt proven that this was his first senior football at all which is the rule...

and it's a dodgy rule at that, how can the concept of playing for your "State of Origin" be at all credible when any number of players can essentially pick and choose between which state the wish to play for according to whether they'll be selected or not.

The whole "where you play your first senior football" rule is a joke as the Inglis situation shows, It'd make a whole lot more sense to me if the rule was based entirely around which state you were born in, or where you have spent the majority of your life in to erase all doubts as to who can play for which state.

Hahaha Peter Wallace in extra time.

28-20 Brisbane with three minutes to go, Penrith score twice in in that time and Wallace boots a field goal from 42m on the fly. Gun kick it was.

Was convinced that there was no way Broncos would lose from there till i heard from Clapo with the score, gutted tbh.

if the NRL expect people to believe they arent rigging this comp then they think we are stupid. Howcome every single friday night have to be great close finishes? They overplayed their hand with two golden point games this week, neither of whuich should have gotten close to going to extra time...

Hahahaha dire post. It's not rigged, the broncos lost because of 2 costly errors, and an awesome drop-kick from Wallace. Get over it

but the broncos had a try which was clearly a try disallowed so .....anyway.........is footy the winner.

Clapo.. when will you learn? It's quite clear that the Broncos have never ever lost a game legitimately - they are just so awesome that it'd never happen. Hence, the NRL rigs their matches to make it more interesting. 8-)

Seriously Simon, if you think it's rigged, then stop following it.

One could also say it was a litte too "perfect" for Webcke to go out a winner last year.

Obviously you'd call them an idiot for saying so and rightfully so. But it makes as much sense as that rubbish, tbph.

fair point you make there Prince, could it also be co-incidence that the refs bascially **** all over Melbourne at 2 crucial stages with dodgy refereeing.... might be onto something here :detective

And not given away a penalty with seconds remaining. Boyd should have just dived on the ball.
