Well if we get some more active players in the next week or so i wouldnt mind us having a team vote or somthnig along those lines. Dont think its fair to just appoint yourself vice captain just quietly.

hahahaha McPinch. AFAIC nothing needs to happen until Goffy can confirm wether he will be continuing as captain or not. I'll make it a point to catch him on MSN or via email asap.

Right, i've just been talking to Blewy about half and hour ago, and he's informed me that he wishes to continue as a player, but doesn't beleive he can commit the time as a captain.

He also said that he would have no problems with me taking over the captaincy. Unless there are any objections, i would be delighted to take over from Blewy as the captain of the East Coast Fury.

In relation to the Vice Captaincy of the club, i was considering going down the line of nominations, and then a vote. Unless of course there was only 1 player willing to take on the role. Thoughts?

If there's no problems with Clapham from his team then i'm fine with him as the new captain.

I object to Clapham being the captain.

If anyone other then Clapo is appointed captain then there is something seriously wrong... He was the most active fury player before it stopped and did a good job captaining the team in my absence..

A solid performance in our first game after the break, though i would've liked to kick it off with a win as the Swell are only 2 games behind us in terms of the title. However, it was not be, and we were really only let down by poor finishing, and myself being the main culprit.

It was good to see Hoy picking up where he left of with a dominant display in the midfield, whilst Goff & Kears were solid as ever down back.

With the extra defender now at the Club, i'm possibly looking at going to a 3-1-2-1-3 formation, Slotting speirz into defence, moving simon permanatly to DM, and Dwyer back up front. The other option being 4-1-2-3, with Speirz slotting in down back, Simon also in the DM position, Myself moving back to central midfield with Hoy, and Dwyer back up front.

Either way, i'm reluctant to have CW players starting from the bench, but if it gets down to the outcome of the final 1/2 games that decide the title, i will defenitely consider starting with foreign players if they're skills best suit the situation.

I would like it if we could also get a bit more activity going here, as in suggestions for tactics etc. as imo maintaining activity is vital if we want CW Football to keep going. :)

At this stage no-one has nominated anyone for the position of VC (no you can't nominate yourself McPinch :p), could i please have some nominations before round 19 games.

fine then ill just keep posting to get myself nominated by you and yea the 3-1-2-1 sounds good but i love 4-1-2-3 formations so use that (y)

*waits patiently* anyone out there???

With Dwyer out this week due to suspension, Speirz slots straight into the backline to make his debut. A win against the Dynamo virtually assures us the premiership (assuming the title is first past the post, and no final is required).
