To a top-class batsman, there's not much difference between 91 and 99.
We have discussed this before, so I dont want to get into it. However the above statement is completely wrong. There is a huge difference.

As speed push towards the extemes of reaction speed, each mph adds dramatically to the difficulty to play. An 8mph difference at those speeds is huge.

Irfan Pathan bowling crazily today. Some Harmison-esque wides and then he'll take a wicket. WI 62-7 now with Samuels gone too.

Cricket-Play interrupted in Trinidad after players slam pitch
Fri Mar 9, 2007 3:27PM GMT

ST AUGUSTINE, Trinidad, March 9 (Reuters) - Play at a World Cup warm-up match between South Africa and Pakistan was held up for seven minutes on Friday after the players complained about the state of the pitch.

South African coach Mickey Arthur and his Pakistan counterpart Bob Woolmer came on to the field to discuss the pitch with the umpires Peter Parker and Ian Gould.

"Players weren't happy with the way the ball was bouncing on the pitch but the umpires are satisfied that the game can go ahead," International Cricket Council official Dhiraj Malhotra told reporters.
Deary me some interesting stuff there and controversy.

Stu just bowled an over but got to question why it took Punter so long to give him an over.

Punter is probley happy he knows what he will deliver... so an oppotunity to allow the others to get a run and stake a claim.
