wasnt too disapointed to lose the glorified trial match, we played pretty poorly but matched it with a very good side, playing away matches in the NRL is tough enough, try travelling across the otherside of the world and doing it.
A few simple errors pretty much cost us the game but there were positive signs there anyway...

Set up for an interesting last 10mins here. Would be big if Saints hold on here
Do you ever get much coverage in the Republic mate?

Or is this one of those random matches that cable TV stations have a habit of doing?

Zero coverage in SA, though there was a tiny bit for the Tri-nations last year. I was following last nights game on BBC radio on the website.

About as odd as Mr Wright praising Brett Lee.
Haha. I'll praise him in ODIs, but you won't catch me doing it in tests.

It was a spectacular atmosphere at Bolton. I've been to sold out origin games at Suncorp Stadium, but this was something else (although I've never been to a game in enemy territory). I was told to be aware of the Northern English inability to take a joke, but after more than a few beers I totally forgot that rule...

The St. Helens fans were great, and took everything in good spirit, at the pub before the game and at the ground. It will be one rugby league experience I will never forget. I don't care what the talk is about teams taking it lightly or using it as a warmup game or anything along those lines. It was a tough contest played in a great atmosphere. And if anyone thinks the Broncos were taking it as a trial game, they need to watch the reactions of the players at the end of the game.

As far as the Broncos performance was concerned, the only thing that worried me was how different a team we were when Berrigan was off the field. We looked a much better team when he was on the field. And I hope it isn't a sign of things to come that he will be off the field for so long for Ennis.

The only disapointing aspect of the night, was the slowness of the beer pulling at the bar. It caused me to miss the first 10 minutes of the game. Not happy Jan...:(

Last night on a game show called Game of Two Halves they were giving Ridgey some stick about it, he was doing his best to deny it.

Andrew Johns has been released to play the special test between Great Britain and the All Golds, just like Dally M.

Will be interesting to see that game.. If the Kiwis have a full strength side and Johns in the 7 jersey they will murder Great Britan... As much as i wouldnt want to lose him from the Tigers i would hope Benji plays in that match as well, playing beside Joey would be great for him and would love to see it as well...

Haha. I remember that. Dom Feaunati kicked arse all game. Beat the crap out of Wild and O'Loughlin, and I think he'd floored Newton earlier IIRC. Was such a gun before he went and bit that kid.

Out of interest what the clubs who are interested the most, or rather the most likely to get Berrigan and Petro (I'm not even going to spell his surname) should/when they go to the ESL? Shouldn't be too hard, if a player who beat a woman can get a contract, then who can't. That any club would touch Latu was/is a disgrace.
