Haha, we have a chain of deletion... (will it continue...?)

No bother.

Don't worry about the "for some reason". I know why that is - because it's the same for near enough everyone. Sounds like you should MSN me, all-in-all... if you have said service.

In only his second year in International cricket, Dhoni is currently ranked 3rd in odi batsman rankings and just one point behind Ponting.
Next stop Jesus, yes?
Next stop John the Baptist and the River Jordan and we'll work from there.

I support Pakistan. (even though I hate the stuff that has plagued us for the last year or so, it's impossible to not support a country which gave me my passion for the sport)

I don't want to see Australia winning the world cup. Pretty much any other team will be fine.

btw, this is OT, but isn't there some religion that considers John the Baptist greater than Jesus?
There are people that think (with fair justification) that Jesus was a follower of JtB and formed his own similar splinter group. The Gospels vary in this regard but there is a gradual movement across the 4 from Jesus being a follower to JtB having Jesus in a very high regard. The 'Jesus as a follower of JtB' is a claim the catholic church and others downplay as it impacts the 'specialness' of Jesus and could undermine his divinity.

Followers of Mandaeism see JtB as a prophet but do not recognise Jesus.

Don't get what you're trying to say really, there wasn't much aggression in my post at all. And I thought it was a pretty fair, general, comment and I could give plenty of examples of the way people denigrate the team when it is uncalled for, such as in the official threads when they will say "I hope SA wins as Pakistan are a bunch of scumbags" etc, seen hundreds of posts like that, but I don't want to single anyone out as that might be aggressive and it is why I didn't in my OP. I'm not talking about being critical about Pakistan when there is discussion on say, the drugs issue, I'm talking about bringing it up when the situation completely doesn't warrant it. It's for those members I hope Pakistan wins as a ' **** you'.

Dunno, am I the only person who gets annoyed with this?
Nah it ****s me too, and its quite a few members tbh, but there's the usual suspects who literally follow Pakistan related threads and mention it.

Can't imagine how the actual Pakistani supporters feel, seeing as the ones that have mentioned their dislike for it in this thread aren't even from Pakistan. Must **** them up the creek though.

I can't speak for all Pakistani posters, but I have just learnt to accept the anti-Pakistan attitude of some. To be perfectly honest, there is justifiable anger/resentment towards Pakistan. We have had controversial incidents follow the team around for a bit. Some of it is self-inflicted (drugs, Afridi's pitch scuffing), and some of it began IMO due to circumstances out of our control (Hairgate). Therefore, I accept that not everyone is going to think highly of the Pak team. However, some posters here have crossed the line from "anger" into "hate" IMO. They constantly post demeaning and insulting comments towards anything Pak related, even when the subject doesn't call for it. It's annoying and frustrating sure, but I have just decided to ignore these posters (for the most part anyway). I am very thankful to those non-Pakistani posters that stand up to this unreasonable level of hatred (Pasag, Jono, SS, Adharcric, Honestbharani, SlowLove, Dasa just to name a few). It is because of them that I'm able to ignore the anti-Pakistan faction and still be able to enjoy visiting and posting on this great site. Gentlemen, you have my everlasting respect.

Having named a few of the refutal brigade, could you name a few of the offenders?
No, because it would turn into mudslinging and that is not my intention. By the way, I do consider you to be one of the more fair members of the forum. There are plenty of others as well, I just cited a few off the top of my head in my earlier post.

OK, fair noof, but I'm not one to look-out for that and while I'd be hard-pressed to miss the relatively large number of "****ing Pakistani cheating ****s" type comments on this particular thread I can't say I've picked-up any pattern myself. And would be interested to be kept informed on such a thing.

But if you don't want to throw the flames - like I say, fair noof. :)

i am not pakistani. but i am a big pakistani team supporter. i personally don't think one should be bothered when some people call pakistani team cheat or other bad names. it is a free world. everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. we should respect each others point of views and opinions. we all see things differently and with different prespectives. for those people who are calling pakistan cheat it is their point of views. i have never been bothered with it or mind it.

You don't usually read the tour threads do you? That's where most of the comments tend to be, e.g. Pakistan in South Africa thread.
