Will sort you out something tomorrow.
top of the league
I agree that natural having natural players will help us, but i don't think we will be that woeful if we don't, i.e Gerrard on the right should work for now & i won't go into Joe Cole since we all know what you think of him.England need genuine wide players on both sides until they've got Owen back up front. Team are just going to push up the field against us, again, we'll keep losing the ball and we'll be lucky to score one unless we're up against rubbish.

Anyway i wonder if Mclers will call up Baines now that Bridge is injured, he might not since Barry can play as a LBm but i would link to see Barry in a midfield role on wednesday rather than a defensive role.
As always, I am a man of my word. As TT Boy once famously said, I have nothing if I don't have my balls. Or something.
is this one okay? I'll let you resize it
What's wrong with him?
Well Rooney won't play so you don't have to worry about that. You obviously need reminding of how toothless England were under the vegetable and how it was repeated in England's last two competitive games where they were lucky to score nil. You cannot go into games with no width and no pace up front, they will be woeful if they do. That 4-5-1 with Rooney up front is hopeless, the back 4 of the opposition will just push right up onto Rooney, there'll be loads of space behind the back 4 but it won't matter because there's no pace to run in behind them (see two previous competitive games). What are England going to do from 30+ yards out? Rooney will have to be perfect with his touches to keep possession and England will need to string pin-point passes whilst there's constant pressure on the ball to create anything remotely threatening.
England need to stick to 4-4-2 and ideally have pace up front to push the defensive line back towards their own penalty area. If they don't have pace they need genuine width to spread the defensive line thinner across the pitch. It would be great if England did all of these things, then they'd create a number of chances against anyone.
He has been rather good this season though.Well no, but that's pretty much a given when you consider the amount of people that play football.
Don't get me wrong, i admire Phil Neville for being a consumate pro and such like, but he is not good enoguh to play international football, IMO
Hmm no proper left wing as usual. Dyer needs to play very advanced or it won't work.Well Rooney won't play so you don't have to worry about that.
England starting XI: Foster; G.Neville, Ferdinand, Woodgate, P.Neville; Wright-Phillips, Gerrard (c), Carrick, Lampard, Dyer; Crouch.
Shocked about Wright-Phillips.
If SGE were rally a vegetable, wouldn't he be in a nursing hom recieving 24/7 care? Granted he wasn't perfect, but that is flat out insulting the guy. I bet wouldn't have the guts to say it to his face. You obviously need reminding of how toothless England were under the vegetable and how it was repeated in England's last two competitive games where they were lucky to score nil. LOL Craigos. Eriksson is Swedish, hence a Swede. Swede = vegetable. If SGE were rally a vegetable, wouldn't he be in a nursing hom recieving 24/7 care? Granted he wasn't perfect, but that is flat out insulting the guy. I bet wouldn't have the guts to say it to his face.
