) England are with a chance to post a decent total.

He's just another blonde Queenslander with the right name. All you need to do is have a name like Shane, Brad, Ryan or Brett, maybe surf a bit, and buy a bottle of peroxide and you'll get in the Australian team. Don't mistake him, Collingwood is one of England's better ODI players. Not the greatest, but at least knows how to play this format.

Is this just sour grapes or do you really believe this?.IMO Watson will make a good one day player as he can come on 2nd change and bowl 5-7 overs or more as he is more than handy with the ball.He's also a more than compotent batsmen who can open go at 4 or number 7,filling in for Cameron White.

Yes, I've seen him bat. His technique is pretty good, but then so is Kyle Mills's. I haven't seen anything else to suggest he is a quality allrounder...and as you said he cries like a babay when he's injured.

Will NZ fans agree that Oram's bowling is a bit of a worry as he is the premier all-rounder.With the unresponsive Caribbean pitches it won't really help his seam bowling and for someone who is 6ft 8in he really should bowl with more pace than around the 80mph mark.

Sounds to me like you haven't seen him bat? You don't "get by solely on physical fitness without any talent whatsoever" in Australian domestic cricket with a batting average of 50 & bowling average of 30. Watson has plenty of talent, and has a marvellous batting technique.
The getting by on Physical fitness Jibe is also laughable considering his career has been riddled with injury.

Him being a bit of a dickhead has nothing to do with his cricket talent though. Otherwise you'd say Ponting is crap, as is Graeme Smith, Ganguly etc.
In the ODI game, he is an allrounder of decent quality, still has more to prove but has shown plenty of promise. I don't like the man, but I'm not blind to not see what he can do, just watch teh DLF Cup and CT.

734 runs @ 30.58 and 52 wickets @ 31.28
He's not yet a quality all-rounder but these figures prove that he is a very handy cricketer in the one day game.

He lacks bowling, that's the main thing. He was out of the game for a while with an injury and he didn't play much first-class cricket before returning to the squad for this series.
