Hilfenhaus deserves a shot over tait, mcgrath rested due to rotation, hogg because he deserves another crack, Hussey up order because hes gun.

Ok clapo you have got a fair point mate, but what has white done so far at no.7 that we would do that badly when he is not there. It has always been mike hussey to the rescue with tailenders like lee and bracken in the games where that seventh batsman should have proved his worth.
Still i am not saying that hogg is good option at 7, but he can't take place of a fast bowler.

Why would Australia not give Hodge and Tait another go? It's a dead rubber after all, and they're already in the squad. Change the team for the finals, not for tomorrow. The bowler rotation policy will continue, of course.

Hilfenhaus is one of the most exciting prospects in recent times in australia, but he is swing bowler and conditions in west indies are not ideal for that. Pitches there are rough so reverse swing is going to take place big time and thats where tait can be more than handy.

George(hogg) working really hard to comeback into the aussie team set up. He scored 33 runs against the redbacks, WA were really poor today only making 200 runs that also mainly due to hoggy and bandy's tail end heroics. If hoggy is playing at adeliade today will he be able to get back to melbourne before the match. What is the latest update on symo? Is he playing tomorrow?

I think it's fair to say that Hogg wouldn't have played today if he was in tomorrow's team, so we can rule that out. You'd expect Tait and Lee might open the bowling tomorrow if Hogg isn't in the side, which will be interesting viewing. Johnson should also come in.

But the only game that hogg played in this series was also in similar circumstances, where he played a ford ranger cup game and flew to adeliade where he played in the game against england.

After lillee and thompson(L&T) the deadly duo of the past, its now going to be lee and tait(L&T). Its really going to be great to see them bowl together but tait is young and raw(pretty much like lee was in his early days), so binga needs to guide him like a mentor so tait doesn't make the same mistakes that he made.

If Tait can manage too be more consistent with line and length him and Lee would be an awesome duo, but not at the moment. Give him a year or two and that duo could be set up.

But aussies showed no spark yesterday they were really flat in every department. You can't expect hussey to be one man army all the time.

According to sportal Hogg isn't in the team tomorow, and neither is Bracken. If they're indeed correct, i'd expect Lee & Tait to open the bowling. This might well be Hodge's last chance to cement a spot in the WC line-up. If he fails here, it'll be interesting to see if they stick with him in the finals series with Symonds out.
