Or bowling well though personally I would give it to Dinesh Karthik, played beautifully. His been a good addition to the side.Karthik or AA for MOTM?
I'd give it to AA for the sheer ridiculousness of him scoring when no one expected a single run from the man.
Particularly when both AA and Powar were listed as all rounders by the broadcasters. Can someone explain why Harbhajan batted ahead of AA and Powar?
FFS Arun Lal!Karthik picks up the Man-of-the-Match award for his 87-ball 63, a great resurrection act, and he'd doused in water and Gatorade as he collects his cheque and little trophy. Arun Lal slips up and refers to him as Dinesh Mongia! All is well, and a soaked Karthik beams as he expresses his satisfaction at chipping in with another good effort his side, especially since he's far from a regular in the side. He praises Agarkar for his cool head and ability to capitalise on bad balls
AA hadn't passed 25 in his last 44 matches. Can someone explain why Harbhajan batted ahead of AA and Powar? Quick runs weren't needed so I see no need for Harbhajan to bat higher, and I thought Powar was a bowling all-rounder, or at minimum a bowler who could bat a bit? What's he doing batting at 10?
I honestly expect India to win this fairly comfortably.
I thought you were being facetious.
Powar, Agarkar and Harbhajan are all handy lower-order batsmen. Powar is a 7/8, Harbhajan is a 8/9 and Agarkar is a 8/9 IMO.Can someone explain why Harbhajan batted ahead of AA and Powar?
