Yeah it's a bit more encouraging to know we can blow 3 easy chances and still compete against a fully-fit Aussie with a lot of injured players out. Much better bowling performance tonight

Yeah, I found it very comical when Mark Taylor said something to the tune of "The extra batsman has worked for NZ - it has allowed Vettori to go down to 8" or something equally ridiculous. This was after the NZ innings too, mind you. Patel himself could have batted at 3 and done better than Marshall - for he could not have done any worse...

Hussey is getting a bit of a reputation for being a lucky cricketer. Good player but thats two games where he should have been gone early and went on to win the game for his side.
