Makes sense. I still think the external factors would even out after this rain because the umpiring hurt India significantly more than the bad light hurt South Africa. Anyways, that doesn't really matter now. Let's see if we get any play today.Bad umpiring or not, South Africa have pretty outplayed India in the last 1.5 Tests (counting this one as practically over). Watching the teams you could tell who the better one is, even allowing for South Africa's first Test debacle.
Bad light has also already affected South Africa rather significantly. It almost cost them a deserved win in the 2nd Test.
Also, I think there's something to be said for Test finishing on cricketing terms - no due to the elements.
