Doherty has bowled better than what his figures have suggested I think. Don't get me wrong, he hasn't been amazing, but I think he's bowled better than Lyon.

Is there a way of checking percentage of balls scored off (number of dot balls would be enough) for bowlers in previous matches?

reckon i could probably count lyon's dot balls


and yeah i reckon doherty has done what his role was supposed to. getting some reward too now

Think you can do it, on the Cricinfo Scorecard thingy from the last match. Not sure though.

And agree on Doherty doing better than Lyon. Actually the wicket last match would have suited him more too.
