The difference seems to be in CE have Bagai scoring 11, TGS have him scoring 8.
wonder who is correct - it could be pretty crucial if it gets close

tarnation, it was TGS who were correct, but only cos the official scorer made a mistake. Well that's the story and I'm sticking to it.

TGS has started to give a s*** of late about Associate cricket.

Back to the game, now that the rain has stopped hopefully Kenya can knock off the runs without too much of a hassle. I hope Obanda especially score more rapidly today than yesterday.

So to qualify for the final, Kenya will need 92 runs in 18.3 overs or thereabouts.
If we can't do that at least, we deserve to be knocked out.

it is still a concern to me that Ouma keeps getting run out. I wonder how many times he has been out this way or run his partner out in internationals of any length.

Just checked up on the scores from yesterday, and was very surprised to see the Dutch results. Never thought they'd beat Kenya, and never thought they'd then fail to beat Canada.

They're in the semi-finals but I would still make them favourites to finish fourth in this qualifier. Having said that, they've now got two chances to beat Ireland and Scotland (or possibly Kenya for a second time) and actually qualify. Would be great for a team going downhill fast in the longer format.

"4.6 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, 1 run.
4.5 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, no run. chance of a maiden here for Katchay
4.4 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, no run. attempted pull shot that manages to go to point
4.3 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, no run. back foot punch
4.2 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, no run. short ball that the batsman misses tring to pull
4.1 E Katchay to N Odhiambo, no run. defended on the back foot, thought of a run but decided against"

:censored:
so much for pinch hitting

39/2 as Odhiambo proves that Kenya's No. 3 problems are far from solved
As I said before, i'm pretty sure he came in as a pinch hitting role (as he did against Ireland in the WCL div1). Have seen him tried in this role a couple of times since without success.

I'm pretty confident Obanda will grow into a decent number 3 - even better would have been if Mishra had kept the faith to come in at 5

Tikolo out cheaply again after what looked like a great start. Interesting to see Odoyo come in above Obanda.

wicket maiden too - and the dog just passed wind. what a horrendous over!

Dhaniram being a right pain. I think Obanda could eventually become a FC specialist batting as he does.

Kamande out as well - our batting is getting shakier and shakier. Almost a 'how to throw your wicket away needlessly' documentary. very frustrating.

FFS!

How much more do we need to try to throw this away.

Kirsten has a hell of a lot of work to do with the batting still!

now we need 8 off 9 to qualify when we had been looking like waltzing in with overs to spare.
