Not a bad effort that, who do you think would win?

I would put my hard earned on the Lefties :)

I think both, left-handed batsman batting, and left-handed bowlers bowling. :)
yeap. thats why bedi and verity are out. we still have the spinning options open.

also, is neil harvey a better middle order bat compared to pollock ? i remembered he averaged much much than his final 48 point something after 20 odd tests that pollock finished his career with. checked in cricinfo. this is what i found?

Harvey 23 39 4 2204 190 62.97 9 8 0 116 3 4th Test v SA 1952/53 [364]
Pollock 23 41 4 2256 274 60.97 7 11 1 4 3 4th Test v Aus 1969/70 [673]

so, who is a beter choice? may be harvey since he had a full career and played against more teams!

There is no way I would send Hammond at number six in the catchers eleven.

you want him above mark waugh? or you dont think he belongs there?
Oh he belongs in any team of truly greats you make. I thought he should be at number 3 or 4. None of the three batsmen listed above him are better players in my humble opinion. Openers excluded for obvious reasons.
