Crazy Cricketer By Yaju Arya E-mail your feedback to yajuarya@yahoo.com {Introduction} Welcome to Crazy Cricketer by Yaju Arya. You may be asking what exactly is Crazy Cricketer. Well, it is a Cricket Game which simulates the result of a match between two cricket teams e.g. India and Zimbabwe. Unlike other Cricket Games, it has released it's source code which means that if you want, you can make changes to the game but will have to credit me. {System Requirements} Crazy Cricketer will run on any system if you have one of these. Windows95/98/98 Second Edition /Millenium Edition/New Technology(NT) with service pack 3/2000/eXPerience. But most important of all, Visual Basic 6 run time files need to be installed. Otherwise, Crazy Cricketer won't run and will give an error. To install them, you can buy magazines with CD's e.g. Digit. Or, visit web sites such as www.zdnet.com , www.download.com , www.32bit.com and there you can search with keywords like "Visual Basic". If the main screen of Crazy Cricketer shows up, then you don't need to rot your brain. It is all fine. {Copyrights} This game is available for free. You can freely distribute it on CD's, Floppies, Magazines, Internet, and so on. But there are two conditions: 1. You will have to refer one of my web sites http://www.yaju.i-p.com 2. You will have to credit me i.e. Yaju Arya. {Playing The Game} To play Crazy Cricketer, open cricket.exe from where you have installed Crazy Cricketer and open cricket.exe. Rest is easy to use and I am sure that you can do it. {Bugs} Bugs are some problems which occour in the game. There are three bugs in the game. You can also fix them. 1. When you start a new match, The first team's score is the same as of the previous game. Solution:Just end their innings by clicking on the "Close" button on the top right, and start the match again. 2. In the over selection, sequences are in the perfect order but 5 appears in the end. Solution:Just select it, or wait for the next release. You can also take the source code and fix it yourself. 3. Second team's innings remain for only 2-3 overs. Solution:Take the source code, and fix it! {Release} This is first beta of Crazy Cricketer. It was released on June 9, 2001.
