World Cup 2011 HQ – Blog Introduction

Once every four years, the cricket world gathers together and the fifty-over game takes centre stage. Yes people, it is time for the Cricket World Cup, coming to you from Asia.

Here at Cricket Web, we’ll be following the action closely, so we decided to share our thoughts with you. The last tournament may have been a disappointment, and there may have been 47 World Twenty20 tournaments since, but still, we have high hopes for this one. The teams seem evenly balanced; you might favour one or another, but there is no hugely overriding favourite. There should be some cracking games and we’ll be hoping to provide you with some interesting opinions.
