Finding Seams on Apples Available for Pre-ordering

As per our previous announcement, we have undertaken a project in conjuction with Quiller Publishing to release a book named Finding Seams on Apples containing what we consider to be some of the best Cricket Web Forum threads over the years.

The following threads were chosen to be included as a part of this book and includes posts by 259 members:

You know you are obsessed with cricket when…
What’s the worst way to be dismissed?
Your weirdest backyard rule?
Pick one former player to add to your current Test team
If Bradman played in today’s era?
Cricketers who changed the way the game was played
Players who you thought wouldn’t make it………….
The greatest all-rounder of all time
Who is the second greatest leg spinner ever?

The book is now available for pre-ordering from the UK through:

Imagine someone like Boycott on a forum having an argument with Furby.

Requested it for Kindle 😀

OK look, I don’t want to hurt the sales of this book or anything, but why would you order this book for the Kindle when you could use your Kindle to browse the CW threads that are in the book? For free. No editing. Smilies and everything. You could event post a reply.

The concept of taking a forum, which by it’s very nature is a dynamic, interactive and evolving entity, and locking it into print seems strange to me.

But, hey, good luck with it!

Out of curiosity, how many asterisks made it into this book?

Comment by LongHopCassidy | 12:00am GMT 27 March 2013

As it’s not that important, it’s in the EST timezone.

You have a number of posts in the book.

No idea actually. My guess would be Richard.
