Berry to Captain Vics

The Victorian Bushrangers have announced that veteran wicket-keeper Darren Berry will lead the side into battle during the Pura Cup this season.
33-year-old Berry captained the Bushrangers for much of last season after the early withdrawal from the role of Matthew Elliot, and has regularly stepped in as captain when previous leaders were unavailable.
The one-day captain is, according to coach David Hookes, yet to be decided upon and will most likely be announced within the next fortnight.
The most likely candidate for the ING Cup top job is Australia A batsman Brad Hodge, while both Berry and Elliot are considered to have an outside chance.
