Blackwell Makes His Point

OK, so the BCB Development Squad are the equivalent of a county under 18's XI but they still needed disposing of. Ian Blackwell did his chances of some one day action no harm at all with a bruising 62 from 43 balls as England cruised to a 167 run win.
It was perfectly timed to coincide with an article in the Guardian by Paul Weaver stupidly entitled BLACKWELL WEIGHS IN FOR A SECOND BITE. England are attempting to trim the 17st spinner-batsman but as he explained himself: "I can't get below 16st without making myself ill."
Surely if he cracks loads of runs for England, WHO CARES???
